For the past twelve years Inspire School of Arts & Sciences has held an annual school-wide gala, where students and staff showcase their classwork and extracurricular activities to the community. This year’s Gala, titled “Be What You Want to See,” will not only showcase students’ performance work, but will invite community members to learn what it’s like to be an Inspire student. Join us on Saturday, January 8, for a day full of fun, entertainment, and a firsthand look into the world of learning, Inspired!

ABOUT THE GALA

The Gala will extend beyond two stunning student performances on January 8th (held at 2PM and 7PM at the Center for the Arts in Chico). It will also include displays of work from our eclectic list of classes and electives, interactive booths, and club presentations inviting community members to take part in the immersive educational experiences that happen every day at Inspire.

Q&A FOR INCOMING OR POTENTIAL STUDENT

This event includes a Q&A panel for potential new Inspire students from 5-6PM. Current Inspire students will answer questions on stage asked live by audience members, allowing prospective Inspire students and families the ability to hear about the school from the people who know it best: our students.

INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS

Between the two performance times the entire lobby of the Center for the Arts will be host to student work from numerous classes. Clubs, classes, and performance groups will share interactive demonstrations and information at booths, so be sure to stop by and tour the lobby exhibit.

DINNER AND DESSERT SUPPORTING INSPIRE

Dinner and dessert are available from Roots Catering and Blue Sugar Bakeshop for anyone to enjoy, whether coming out of the 2:00pm performance or going into the 7:00pm showcase. Pre-orders are required for these delicious offerings. Dessert must be ordered by December 21, 2021 and dinner orders must be placed by January 1, 2022. Attendees are welcome to dine in or drive through and pick up their meals between 4:30PM and 6:30PM.

This event is open to the public and all activities are family-friendly. Bring your people, explore your passions, and get INSPIRED! All proceeds from the event will benefit Inspire Performing Arts programs, and additional donations are welcome.

Students that apply to Inspire from December 1st – January 7th will receive a free ticket to the Gala. Come get Inspired and see what our school is all about.

For more information about this and to reserve your space, call 530-891-3090. Tickets can be picked up in our main office (335 West Sacramento Ave.) during the week of January 3rd. Pick-up times are Monday through Friday, 11:00am-4:00pm.

We will have your student’s name on a list and they will be able to receive their free ticket for either the 2:00pm or 7:00pm showing.
